Axe Throwing and Social House

I have been a customer of the Wake Forest location since about a week after they opened earlier this year. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, the facility and the management. They even recently started serving food. This is a great place to grab a drink and throw some axes with your friends or a date! They now have a Lounge for and outside seating as well if you just want to socialize instead of or in addition to throwing hatchets. I am actually the captain of the league and we are always looking to get new people involved. Come try it out and then let me know if you want to join up!

So glad I came across Epic Axe! Was patiently waiting for Urban Axes to open in Durham to take an out of town visitor for something fun to do. But, with no announced open date - I gave up. That is until i saw the trailer for Epic Axe going down Capital. Called and had an awesome convo with Billy and checked them out today at Oak and Dagger. Had a blast! Oh, did I mention I’m 35 weeks preggo?! Lol! Our guest had fun too - doing something he “never otherwise would have” and I cannot wait to enjoy a beer at the physical location to open in February! It will be the perfect stress reliever for this momma!!

Doing their best during covid is the least that can be asked during these times but Marc and Epic Axe went above and beyond!!! I have never been ace throwing before but I am definitely coming back here. Marc was our instructor but he was with us 100 percent of the time giving us tips and just making it an awesome time. I would have never expected axe throwing to be so fun but I would recommend it to everyone. I never felt in danger which you would expect with "throwing axes." It was awesome and if you have Marc as an instructor you are set!!!

What a great experience some buddies and I had at Epic Axe. We went to the Morgan street location and had a blast. Jessica treated us and got us checked in and ready to start. Ryan was our coach and did a great job. He had us throwing better very quickly which made it fun. He also interacted with our group of guys who don’t cut each other any slack. He had different games to keep us laughing and competitive the whole time. We will be back.

We held a work team building function for about 70 people at Epic Axe last night and dealing with Billy and his team was nothing short of amazing! Everyone had an absolute blast! The food was great and the drinks were even better. Billy and his team really embody the words social house, it’s the real deal! They seamlessly managed our Axe throwing tournament, ensuring everyone had a drink, and all were having a good time!
